Hello everyone, I do apologise for the lack of articles recently. Oyster River Pages has just closed it’s submision window and the editors and I are working hard to read through all the files. I’ll make the announcements on when the new issue is coming out and when the new submission window opens up next year.
Upcoming Events by ORP:
There are two upcoming events by ORP including a free event called A Gathering of Poets on Sunday, July 12, 8:00–9:30 pm EDT. Poets and editors will gather for an evening of live poetry readings.
You’re Also Eligible: Reimagining the Environmental Writer is a paid event with two sessions starting from Sunday the 13th of September and ending on Sunday the 20th of September. This events features National Geographic Explorer and Penguin Random House author Thammika Songkaeo who will interrogate the mental barriers we face when shaping stories about ‘the environment’ from our own homes. Registration opens in July.
